Web Promotion That Works

What should a person or company look for when attempting to decide which web promotion agency to appoint? Where can you find an affordable web promotion service? These are the questions that I will be answering within this article.
It can be like a minefield when attempting to pick “the right” web promotion agency. They seemingly all call themselves “SEO experts” or “web promotion experts” however this is one industry that lacks any relevant qualifications to justify such a title; this is something that needs to somehow change.
I have interests in a number of websites including ones about stuttering treatment, obtaining cheap phone calls and about composite doors; I know from my own personal experiences about how hard it is to find a web promotion service that works.
In my opinion there is only one way that we can judge the merits of a web promotion company and that is by their past results. You may well find that many of them will shy away from letting you have access to these results – I wonder why? The web promotion specialists, and I am talking about the one’s that justify being called a specialist, will be more than happy to let you know which websites that they have been working on as well as the key phrases they have been promoting.
At this stage I would not just take their word for it and would therefore make a couple of phone calls asking something like:
“Hi, I am sorry to bother you. I believe that webpromotionuk have been promoting your company website and I am thinking of hiring them as well. I was just wondering how you found them thus far. Are you happy with the service that they have provided?”
This may be slightly below the belt in the eyes of some of the readers of this article. It is certainly accepted in other areas of business therefore why not in SEO and web promotion tips? I sometimes think that some of the people in this industry think they are somehow different to any other business, and that they are actually better. Well this just so is not the case; in fact the SEO world is the laughing stock of other businesses; what with no recognised examination and so many scam artists, it really is time that this industry cleaned up its act!

There is an unfortunate large section of the SEO community who think that they are above the rest of the society. Well without a recognised examination, with many of them scamming their clients with false promises and with many others unable or unwilling to prove their past results I can categorically confirm that the majority of these so called “web promotion experts” are a pure waste of space!

The Life Of A Web Marketer – Blissfully Wasteful

A life of a web marketer can be a very relaxing one with the ability to choose your own hours and to work when you want to work. I offer a web promotion service that works and have been since 1999. In this article I am going to describe a typical day that I would have a few years ago(before the wife and kids arrived). I love my current life however I do sometimes miss those happy quiet days when I could do what I wanted to when I wanted to.
It is the year 2000 and I have eight people/companies who I am working for. These are people who have contracted me to help them to obtain a higher ranking within the major search engines.
I have learnt rather a lot about SEO and website promotion up to this point mainly from reading the views of the established specialists from the industry.
I would mainly carry out my work in the hours between 11pm and 3am as this is when the world is seemingly at its quietest.
This would be my typical day:
7am – This is the time that I would normally wake up; I would clean my teeth and go to the toliet before going back to bed.
10am – After an extended “lie in” I would turn on my laptop and the television whilst still in bed. This is the time where I read through a number of websites and check my e-mail.
10.20am – I phone the DVD replication company to check if the discs that I have ordered are ready.
10.30am – I make myself some breakfast and head in to the lounge; I turn the fire and television on. I think it is time for a chill out, it has after all been a rather busy start to the day!
1.20pm – I could do with some exercise therefore I decide to walk to the shops to buy a paper.
2pm – I drive to the tennis club as I have arranged to play a game with a good friend of mine.
6pm – I cook myself a quick meal before watching some more television.
A quick break from the t.v to check my e-mails.v. I speak to a good friend of mine on the telephone who is arranging a service for me where by I will be able to make cheap calls.
The time has come to do some real work – believe it or not this is the time of the day that I love the most.
3.00am – I am now off to bed.
