Why You’re Not Making Money Online

It has been estimated that 99% of people who attempt to make money online fail to do so. I don’t know how accurate that is but based on the frustration I see posted online I’d guess it’s pretty close. The unfortunate thing is that most of these failures come from mistakes that all newbies seem to make. Here are some possible reasons that you’re not making money online.
1. You’re relying on building a downline. MLMs and any program that requires you to build a downline in order to make decent money is basically doomed from the start. A lot of people new to the internet see the paid to click or paid to read email programs that promise you all kinds of money if you just get ten signups and then those ten get ten signups, etc. The real tragedy here is that for the amount of effort that you will put into getting just ten people to sign up for a program you could actually build a long term income producing website.
2. You’re working in the Internet Marketing niche. If you’ve never made any money online how can you reasonably attempt to sell anyone products on Internet Marketing? This niche is just too saturated with real experts for a new person to compete in. Find another niche to begin your make money online attempts in.
3. You’ve put all your eggs in one basket. Many ideas, products and websites just don’t sell. If you’re committed to one of these ideas and are determined to make it work at any cost you will be in for a rude awakening. Most first attempts fail. You need to move on and try other ideas, it may be the next or maybe the tenth idea you try but eventually you will get it right. When I was heavy into PPC ads I often would start five to ten new ad campaigns on one day. 8 out of 10 didn’t make me any money so I would drop them and focus on refining the ones that worked. Imagine how broke I’d be if I refused to let go of those bad campaigns?
4. You can’t or won’t follow directions. If you’ve bought one of the many courses available that claim to show you how to make money online there’s a good chance that even if everything in the course is correct, that you still won’t make any money because you tried to skip steps and didn’t follow the instructions to the letter. If this sounds like you, go back and start over, and this time follow the directions to the letter.
5. Nobody wants what you’re selling. If you didn’t do keyword research to see what people were searching for and you just went ahead and made the site or product that you wanted to make there’s a good chance you’re going to fail. No amount of effort on your part is going to make people buy something that they aren’t interested in. You need to go back and find out what people want and cater your efforts to that.
6. You are paying for traffic. Anyone who does a little research and maybe buys a good course on getting listed in the search engines can get all the free traffic they want. Why are you paying for it? Paying for traffic affords you no time to correct mistakes or tweek your sales pitch or website. You will run out of funds before you figure out what to do. Find a good course on SEO and get all the free traffic you want through the search engines.

Insiders Secrets to Marketing Your Business On the Internet by Corey Rudl – Reviewed

I came to understand that “Insider Secrets” was a labor of love developed by Corey Rudl and it didn’t happen easily for him. Hours of learning and research went into gaining his knowledge and compiling this marketing system, in a manner that benefited me personally.
This review is meant to be a useful, educational and an instructive resource for anyone interested in starting their own internet business.

In June 2005, tragedy struck when Derek Gehl lost his good friend, colleague, and mentor, Corey Rudl, to the sport Corey was most passionate about — car racing. Corey’s passing stunned the entire internet marketing community. But one thing became very clear, very quickly: everyone was adamant that Corey’s dream must continue, no matter what.
And so, while Derek had always been content to work “behind the scenes,” he suddenly found himself thrust into a very public role. But I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised; after all, when the box containing these materials showed up at my door, it weighed in at over 10 pounds!
That’s 10 pounds of the most comprehensive internet marketing strategies, test results, case studies, tools, and ideas for generating income online that I have ever read. In fact, the only negative here is the time I needed to study all the information packed into “Insider Secrets”.
If you’re unsure who Corey Rudl was, you should know that he was a recognized expert in online marketing for the last 10 years. Not only did his “Insider Secrets” generate millions for him in online sales, his sites still attract thousands of visitors a day.
His package includes step-by-step advice for starting your own internet business. It covers how to build a website for under $100.00 and where to find those hot niche products that everyone talks about. It showed me many free and cheap online tools, resources and software that I found invaluable.
Of course, getting visitors to your website is always the first priority and Corey’s system showed me how to get new qualified visitors for free. He went into detail on how to get high rankings in the search engines, even Google. He also shared his secrets on writing sales copy that helped increase my sales substantially.
What’s really great about Corey’s “Insider Secrets” is that it can show anyone how to build a profitable internet business even if you’re completely technically challenged like me.
And if you already have an internet business as I do, this excellent information will take you to the next level. The advanced sections of his system show you how Corey increased his profits dramatically.
It will take time to go through this package and really get a total grasp of all his techniques and strategies. After all, it contains two binders of lessons plus the three CD’s and the four guidebooks. You may be a little confused at first but reread it again because it will all make sense.
This package is not a quick fix as I said. It will take time and patience, but it was worthwhile for me.
I feel completely comfortable giving the “Insider Secrets” system a 9 out of a possible 10! It is 1,300+ pages of step-by-step lessons containing the exact strategies Corey personally used to build a highly successful internet business. If you follow this plan like I did, you too will build a business on the internet, in a reasonable period of time.

Why ERP for small businesses can make a real difference to survival rates

Running a company efficiently is about organisation, focus and process as a massive 55% of businesses fail in their first five years of existence. The experts offer banal opinions as to why this occurs. I consistently see three key reasons why this tragedy occurs so often and to so many people with different experience, education and knowledge.
The primary reason is insufficient market comprehension.
Refusal to look at the water ahead. For example Individuals have the concept, build the product and then sit back and wait for the market to flock and buy. In information age there is no excuse for lack of research before wasting any time and money on creating a product until you have robust confirmed there is a market.
The number two reason is lack of understanding of the basics of business.
A significant proportion of people starting a company know their trade, how to deliver a service or build a product, but know very little about running a company. Having the ability to read and follow the balances in the profit and loss or the balance sheet is a vital. The basic knowledge of accounting is not very often imparted well by the business manuals, online resources and experts in the know such as accountants and bookkeepers. This subject is further exacerbated by manufacturers and their partners thrusting small business accounting software at fledgling businesses.
Small business accounting software isnt a complete answer.
Large enterprises years ago worked out that all of their Information systems should be fused together to give them a complete picture of the business and then along came ERP software solutions and packages. One vendor NetSuite had the foresight to see the opening in the market and started offering its small business ERP software. NetSuite competitors have since emerged.
The third reason businesses don’t survive is because of lack of process and procedures that provide the essential behaviours and consistency a business must have to perform efficiently.
