How To Use Videos And Articles To Promote Your Website

Alright, since I want to keep this article short and help you dramatically increase your traffic and leads, I’m going to get right into some hard core traffic building techniques that you can use for any website. What I’m about to share with you is a four step website promotion strategy that I use to get ridiculous amounts of visitors to my websites. What I’m going to encourage you to do is to run through the whole strategy once per day. If, however you are strapped for time, this can be scaled back to once every seven days. Alright, let’s get on with the strategy:
1. The first step is to create a piece of educational content. It doesn’t have to be ‘killer’, it just has to be educational. Pretty much no matter what you do, you’re not going to be able to completely predict where the majority of your traffic will come from. There are some ’super gurus’ out there that try and develop training to teach you how to only tackle the ‘heavy hitter’ articles, but you’re better off just creating tons of content and dealing with the ratios. Every kind of content online is the same, videos included. Just create something with some valuable information in your niche, and put it on a website. You might put it on an article network, your personal blog, or a video sharing network.
2. Step two is simple, you make a video and simply announce your article with it, broadcasting it to as many websites as you possibly can. Video marketing is one of my favorite promotion tactics because you get the search engines picking up your content 10 times faster than any other method. Confused? Simply sit in front of a camera and talk about your exciting new article for 30 seconds. I utilize a program called Traffic Geyser to promote my videos, because Traffic Geyser is awesome and it’s super easy to use. More importantly, though, it works. Point the link in the video back to the source of your original piece of content. You can use an awesome free service called TubeMogul as well, but it’s not nearly as effective in Traffic Geyser.
3. In the third step, you just write an original, short article and you broadcast it to the article directories, pointing the article back to your original content. I like article marketing because articles rank consistently in the search engines and they get you long term, passive traffic if you keep using them. They also give you a kind of ’super credibility’ that only can come from massive exposure and consistent content creation. I use automated software to promote your articles.
4. Do it every day. Look, this is a simple process, and it will work for you like crazy if you follow it. Honestly, even if your articles stink and your videos are second class, it will still work.Honestly, even if your articles stink and your videos are second class, it will still work. (Of course, it will work much better if they’re killer). However, just do it consistently for the next 100 days.
So why should you keep working the strategy over the next 100 days? I’ve got a simple answer for you. If you follow the simple advice in this article, you’ll be getting so much traffic and leads that you’ll flip out with enthusiasm. (It works that well). If you stick with the strategy, you’ll get results, and I’ll see you at the top of the search engines.

Like Neo, traffic is “The One”. Without traffic, all your effort would just go to waste. Every business needs customers, without them you wouldn’t have anyone to sell your products to. In the internet world traffic is the walk in customer. The more traffic you have the more people would be able to sell your products to.
The greater of number that do come in to browse your merchandise, the greater number of people that will buy your products. It is a simple and known fact.
But, how do you get traffic, traffic large enough that could make a small percentage of eventual buyers enough to make a good profit. Search engines provide information to the millions of users that are searching on them. They provide links to many sites that a user may be looking for. If your sites link pop up in the high ranks of the search results page, you get a great chance that they will go to your site. While search engine optimization is a cheaper and low cost way to get your site a high rank, paying for advertisements will ensure that you will be on the top ranks.
When you pay for your advertisements, it is like paying for your traffic. This may sound like not such a good idea, but the payoffs would tell a different story. When you pay for your traffic, you are guaranteed of a consistent traffic flow to your site. You will never go with an empty sales day.

Usually, you will be charged with the number of hits a link gets when your ads is clicked, this is called pay per click. For paid search engines like AdWords, you will be charged with the number of times your ad shows. It is imperative that you have good keyword content in your ad. There are many tools that aid you in using the right keyword for the right moment.
All the money you spend in paying for your traffic will not be for naught. You will get an impressive boost in traffic which will also result to a great boost in your sales figures.

The benefits that articles provide are putting a site high in the ranking in search results of keywords and keyword phrases that pertains or are relevant to his or her site. They also provide attraction to website visitors when they are appreciated and is linked to your site from another site or newsletter. Articles provide for the increase of the confidence and trust levels of customers to your site and company.
Many articles are also beneficial to both company and its traffic. When the readers like the articles, they would tell more of their friends, family and peers and recommend your site to them, providing for a larger volume of traffic. You get bigger sales if your traffic trusts and believes in you. Your product or services would be much easier to sell when they know you know what you are doing and talking about.
We have established that articles are very important to business. Articles are crucial and to keep ahead in the game, a site must have an article, it is imperative. There is one dilemma though, not many people like writing articles.
Many website owners would rather spend their time on something else, and unless you’re a big time company, you don’t have the necessary resources to use on a pool of article writers. Plagiarism or copying of other articles is frowned upon and could easily get you into trouble, worst case scenario; a hefty fine and jail time.
So what are the other options?
Well, for starters if you hate writing articles and you can’t afford to hire people to write for you then don’t. Get free articles. The first place to look at for free articles is the public domain. Here you won’t have problems with copyright infringement and the following penalties and fines if you get caught for plagiarism.
Public domain articles are articles freely given to the public for public use. You can do what you want with it. You can place it on your site, name it as yours, put it in a newsletter its you decision. Always remember though that you will have to choose articles that is very relevant to your site.
The downside to public domain articles is that since it is free for everybody, many of your competitors may have access to them as well. Since every site needs to be original and unique even though you have the same niche, this could be a predicament. You may also have to edit them a bit to place more keywords and keyword phrases to make them better.
Another way to get free articles is to allow other sites which has the same subject or topic as yours to submit articles to your site. This would be only to augment your existing content or else all your articles would be leading to other sites since these articles would have resource boxes with them that could link or direct the readers to their site. You cold use your articles to link your site to other sites as well.
But, to truly feel the impact of what a good article to you, go for original ones. There are many article writers who do part time and freelance article writing jobs that charges only minimal fees. You can get good articles that have all the keywords and keyword phrases you need and people are looking for.
