Ten Do’s and Don’ts for Social Media Marketing
by admin on Jan.05, 2010, under Make Money Online
Social media is important for your business and how you behave when you’re on a social media site is just as important. Your online personality is part of you – it is an interactive experience for you and your business. Who is the face or voice of your product or service? How do you want to be perceived? Here are some helpful do’s and don’ts to keep your image intact and make you and your business a social media success.
Do’s:
Define your goals. What do you want to accomplish through social media? Do you want to reach potential customers or share knowledge with others who work in your field? Always keep your goals in mind to guide you through your actions in social media.
Be respectful. Treat others as if you were face-to-face with them. People online have feelings, too. A lot can be conveyed in what you write and how you write it.
Participate. You want to make sure you are seen and heard, so submit articles, post comments and stay visible. Keep it on the positive side. Contribute constructive comments after you read something that is interesting. Don’t forget to congratulate the author of a really good post. You know you would appreciate it.
Be open-minded. One of the main goals in social media is sharing and collaborating, so if someone says you missed an important point or they are right and you are wrong, be gracious about it. You should openly welcome feedback from your peers. They could be customers.
Be vigilant. Keep an eye on your competition and see what they are up to. Where are they listed? Who are their fans on Facebook? What kind of promotions are they offering?
This is one way to stay ahead of the game when your business is on social media.
Don’ts:
Don’t spam. This is the biggest taboo of them all. It is counterproductive and might even get you banned or penalized.
Don’t stalk people. If you invited someone to become your “friend” and they have declined your invitation, don’t keep bothering them. If a business connection hasn’t replied to any of your messages, quit while you’re ahead. Any effort on your part to insist on a friendship could be viewed as stalking and your image could be damaged.
Don’t social climb. Social climbers take note. As you build your social media personality, don’t only connect with people who have a lot of “followers,” “friends,” or “connections.” It makes sense to engage with popular members of social media, but it’s even better to connect with other quality audiences. Start slowly and begin to build your personality one social media platform at a time
Don’t be negative. As the saying goes, “if you can’t say something nice…” That doesn’t mean you can’t disagree with someone and offer constructive criticism. What should be avoided at all costs is a type of environment where accusations are made and insults are traded. It will get you nowhere and only reflect negatively on you and your business.
Don’t be a broken record. If you are using Twitter, reach out to everyone talking about your product or service with a personally written tweet. Do not resend the same thing over and over. People you interact with will read your Twitter stream and want to see what useful information you provide
In conclusion, act like a decent human being and you will do well. Treat people like you would like to be treated yourself. Promote your business, products and services, but do it in a non-invasive way. Try to be positive, take criticism in stride and keep your negative thinking to yourself. Participate and encourage others to do so. Let everyone know about what you do and how it contributes to the collective effort. And remember – it takes time. Follow these basic rules and your business will thrive.

Realize Your Goals
by admin on Nov.20, 2009, under General
Overcome Your Anxieties
Everyone dreams. We dream of success, nice homes, fast cars, and enjoyable vacations.
Past disappointments tend to limit our willingness to take the risks necessary to become successful. Because some of us are intimidated by the internet, we don’t go all out to realize our dreams of success with our internet businesses.
Change happens so rapidly that it’s very difficult to keep up with the latest internet marketing strategies. So how do we find the wisdom and the courage to take the next step on our journey to achieving our goals?
Mindset Is Critical
Sir Winston Churchill once said, “Success is measured by your ability to maintain enthusiasm between failures.”
Every day my inbox is filled with advertisements for newer and better ways to perform internet marketing. But which ones are legitimate and which are merely scams? There’s no substitute for actually trying the product you’re considering.
Success Personality
One Gallup organization in-depth study of the “success personality” explored the attitudes and traits of 1500 randomly selected individuals from Who’s Who in America. The three most significant traits they found were:
1) Common Sense – the ability to simplify a complex subject by getting to the core of what matters
2) Knowing One’s Field – first-hand knowledge as well as support from experienced coaches, and
3) Self-Reliance
Noted author, Brian Tracy, has stated, “All successful men and women are big dreamers. They imagine their ideal future and then work very hard to realize that future.”
Success Formula
If you want to achieve your dreams, apply the following success formula:
1) Determine your desired outcome(s)
2) Be proactive – meaning, do something!
3) Notice and feedback results
4) If the results are not what you want, change your strategy
For home business owners, the ability to maintain enthusiasm between failures (or more likely, between massive sales) will, indeed, separate the successful ones from the unsuccessful ones.
And one of the best ways to maintain your enthusiasm is to associate yourself with successful people – teachers, mentors and other gurus who’ve “been there and done that” and are already successful.
A very good starting point for collecting all the understanding about internet marketing that you’ll need is to enroll in the Online Success for Beginners program.

How to choose a good search engine optimization company for your business
by admin on Nov.13, 2009, under General
Being online is paramount to most businesses, and understands the need for search engine optimization SEO. An SEO company like any other company. There are good ones and there are bad ones. You will mesh well with one, and not another. It is very important to find a company that you feel confident with and feel that they answer your questions satisfactorily and in a timely manner.
Addition to the “intuition” and personality, there are some very specific questions, you need to ensure that the correct answer. For instance, do they have a portfolio, complete with testimonials? If they are in the search engine optimization industry has been working for a very long time, they are likely to have an investment portfolio, but there are a lot of their customers, you can protect your Another advantage.
What are the potential SEO companies ask them to sort the report will be what the report, and they can often expect to receive a report. A minimum report should include the locations of the back links that they’ve put into place, what on page SEO changes were made, and a Google Analytics report that includes a summary of traffic results from the previous month. Monthly is usually adequate for reports, though some will send out reports quarterly.
Ask if the SEO company you are interviewing provides ethical whitehat only solutions, and have them describe what SEO techniques that they plan on using. Have them put it in writing for you, so that you can go to one of the SEO forums, like WarriorForum, to ask around and get other opinions.
Avoid companies that email you with guarantees of page one results. They don’t own Google, and can’t make such a claim. Typically, they use pay-per-click advertising, or the number of keywords do not rank your site, there is no competition. Always be wary of email solicitations for SEO services, just like you do for other unsolicited emails.
Your shopping search engine optimization as a part of the work, an educational search engine optimization generally accepted practice. This is your site, if a company has done nothing wrong, your site can be almost no traffic overnight. Take the time to understand who you are hiring, you can have a website, get more traffic than it is now increasingly.

Will Eric Worre’s Training On NetworkMarketingPro.com Help You In Your MLM Business?
by admin on Sep.30, 2009, under General
From The Office Of David Wood, Attraction Marketing Coach
Read the full Eric Worre Review:
Eric has been involved in MLM now for more than 20 years, and is one of the most highly respected leaders in MLM. Eric has become a force to be reckoned with in MLM – building teams that span 20 countries, with hundreds of thousands of people. In this review, we’re going to talk about Eric’s philosophies, business practices, and strategies for building an MLM empire.
A Brief History Of Eric Worre
I first met Eric Worre in 2005, in what later turned out to be my first successful Network Marketing experience. I got involved in a company called Agel Enterprises, for which he was one of the ‘Big Three’ team leaders.
I was always fascinated by Eric, because he has a really unique personality. On the stage of major conventions, Eric tends to ask questions an listen more than he speaks. He plays the part of a celebrity interviewer, asking questions to clarify points that allow the finer points of Network Marketing success to come through in a way that otherwise would remain in darkness.
Overall, Eric is a great leader, and if you’re building an MLM business, it would be a good idea to familiarize yourself with his training systems, products, and websites.
So how does Mr. Worre build his team?
Eric teaches the traditional MLM basics: word of mouth, third party promotions, home meetings, and the like. It’s hard to actually get Mr. Worre to train on anything other than 3 way calls, home meetings, and weekly events.
He will not do it. In fact, I don’t know if he would remember this, but I heard him talking one day about how he keeps things ridiculously simple, and so I was around him later that day at a training convention, and I questioned him, attempting my best to get him to be complicated. Eric just wouldn’t complicate anything, no matter how hard I tried.
One of the most important things I learned from Eric was to keep it simple, even when it’s tough. Before I met him, I came from a long list of uplines and teams that seemed to try and build a business in the most complicated way they possibly could. (Which made me one frustrated networker)…
So Do Eric Worre’s Techniques Work For Everyone?
If you ask Eric and he’s being honest, he will admit to you that they don’t. The simple fact is that 21st century MLM leaders are open about the fact that every system doesn’t work for everyone. Different personalities find success in MLM with different strategies – as evidenced by the thousands of contradicting training systems that have produced strong results.
I actually first started making real money when I was involved with Eric – and it was from following and promoting his system.
Just to be blunt, using that marketing system was EXTREMELY difficult for almost everyone on my team. All of us were broke, frustrated, and in our mid 20’s (I was the least broke among them), that simply wasn’t a good system for us to use. Simply put, to make big money using Eric’s system – I would have to alter my personality and join a bunch of business networking clubs to meet the kind of people I would need to recruit. I would rather wash dishes.
Also, I discovered after a time that I simply don’t enjoy spending all of my free time at meetings, on conference calls, and prospecting strangers. Now I do love speaking, but there was just too much pressure to do weekly events, even when it was less effective than other approaches. I simply desired a more effective personal solution to build my business.
So am I promoting the idea that you should forget anything that Mr. Worre teaches? Actually, Mr. Worre’s training system was the first marketing system that ever worked for me in MLM. I simply will not be content with a measly five grand a month, however, and so I began searching for a more powerful, streamlined business system
…and then – I discovered the world of online marketing. It took some training, but I finally figured out how to market myself online, and I learned that not only was it more effective than trying to meet people locally, it was simply easier to do once I got the hang of it.
When I finally started prospering online, and constantly having people call me, wanting to become involved in my business and treating me with respect – I can’t tell you how empowering it felt.
Is Eric’s system productive? The answer is yes, however – there is not any way I will EVER build a team like that, ever again. Actually, I wouldn’t care if my income grew five times as fast. It’s so much more professional, simple, and empowering to learn how to attract thousands of hungry prospects to you, influence people all over the world through social media, and sponsor people WHO WANT to hear from you…
I simply wouldn’t have it any other way.
However, I’ve experienced the exact opposite. When I started to market myself online, it took me six months to grow my income by more than five times. Today I sponsor more reps into my business than almost anyone I’ve met in this profession.
Thousands of entrepreneurs all over the web have benefited from David Wood’s Eric Worre Review To learn how you can sponsor 20-50 reps per month into your company, visit David Wood’s MLM Training Now.
