I hate it….that’s to put it mildly.
Listen, it’s totally not cool when I send out emails to those who have opted in on my site and some take advantage of me by turning around and sending me back emails promoting their business opportunities.
This industry is based on building relationships. Wanting to see what they have to offer, sure go ahead and opt in!Trying to boost your leads using this strategy? You should NEVER do it that way! This is a sure fine way to piss a lot of people off and ensure that they will not join your business.
Opt in forms are there for you to gain further knowledge if you’d like and if you aren’t looking for that, DO NOT fill it out! Network marketing has a few simple guidelines that are well known throughout the community. RESPECT, it at the top of the list. Those who have been in MLM for a while know who’s who. It only takes a few stupid mistakes such as spamming for people to get the word out that you are not a legit, honest business associate. New beginners, don’t start out rocky. Get a running start!
How are you presenting yourself?
Behave as the leader you are. You want to work with those who have the drive to succeed. Come on people…it’s common sense! Imagine the situation was reversed… wouldn’t YOU be a little ticked off if you had spent numerous hours trying to marketing your content and material and someone stole YOUR information and started spamming you left and right?~Think about it this way, would you be upset if someone stole your identy and used it however they wanted? So why in the world would you want to do the same thing to someone else? It’s not right and it’s certainly unfair. Come on people…it’s common sense!}
Let’s get serious! If you are going to continue to use this method then at least be polite enough to send an email asking if it’s okay. Asking is always the best policy in this case, who know’s they might just say, “Yes!” You will ONLY receive emails from me because you have asked for them. This will not give you permission to email be yours in return!
When others can point out the leader in you, then you know you have achieved something wonderful. Have to deal with people day in and day out, it’s nice to hear someone say that they trust you and honor your opinion. If you would only grab hold of what I have said, not only will you present yourself in a more classy fashion but you will be sure to win over a lot more of your clients and prospects. People ONLY do business with those they TRUST and take a liking too.
Start doing things correctly. Begin seeing people who look to you for advise rather than having to constantly seek after them. A lead caputre page will ensure you have a place to send your prospects. What you need inside is great information and an opt in form for others to have access to your goodies.
Impementing something so small, doesn’t seem like much…It will make a tremendous difference. Knowlegde is power.
