Online surveys are the quickest way to get your foot in the door with online marketing. It’s also the best way to supplement your income with a little extra money every month. With the economy in a downturn, I’ve seen more than just stay-at-home moms trying out online surveys.
Keep in mind that these surveys aren’t a get rich quick scheme. I’ve heard about some that guarantee $300 per week, or they will refund your money. On the other hand, there are survey companies that offer a modest income of about $200 per month.
Anyone can participate in an online survey. As a matter of fact, they’re looking for a diverse demographic to pull from. This makes streamlining their marketing efforts easier.
Some surveys pay as little as $1 or as much as $25. The top paying surveys aren’t as common. On average, most of them pay between $2-$5, and they only take about five or ten minutes to complete.
Here’s the thing about online surveys, they are quick and easy to do, but you might end up wanting to branch out into mystery shopping, focus groups, phone surveys, reading emails for your opinion, and free trials.
In return for your time, you get free samples, visits to restaurants, free shopping, and much more.
One of the best things about online surveys is that you truly make your own schedule. You either do a survey or you don’t. You can take the survey at 3AM or 4PM. The choice is yours. Plus, you aren’t ever under the pressure to meet a deadline.
Major Fortune 500 companies are willing to pay you for your opinion through online surveys. You just have to know where to look for legitimate opportunities.

How to Get Into Internet Marketing

There are many reasons why people fail at Internet marketing and Internet business in general. For the most part everyone starts out with a broad goal and idea and starts doing research to see what it is that they have to do or learn to make it happen. The problems begin as soon as they do their first search on Google for “Internet business opportunities” or “Internet marketing”. They are immediately assaulted by thousands of results that for the most part are useless. There are so many scams and get rich quick schemes that are so well introduced that it’s no wonder that people get sucked in. The sales copy for these websites is excellent. The use of some very talented copy writers and professional graphic designers makes these "opportunities" irresistable especially to the newbie marketer.
Not all is lost and not everything is a scam
Fortunately there are plenty of legitimate opportunities and courses that will get you going in the right direction. Before diving in to a business I would recommend that you look around and find the legitimate course programs and think about taking one. But also you have to think about and decide how you want to make money.
One very popular model of business is niche blogging or niche marketing. While they are similar they are not the same. In niche blogging you create a blog, preferably a self hosted Wordpress blog, and you “blog” about a particular subject or “niche”. You might choose dieting or dog grooming or even sports card collecting. You then begin to write articles about your subject of choice and begin the process of driving traffic to your blog. Even with good writing skills and depending on the time you dedicate it can take up to a year to see some very good results. You can make money using various systems and techniques. You can sell an eBook on the subject that either you wrote or bought PLR rights to. PLR or private label rights allow you to publish the eBook under your own name. Using Google Adsense is another way of monetizing your blog. Of course in either case you have to have a good amount of traffic coming in.
Niche marketing is a bit different in that you publish a site sometimes referred to as a mini-site, due to the fact that you just publish one page as the sales page and write a compelling sales copy (Page) to sell your product. A lot of people that do that use pay per click advertising to drive traffic and use services like PayDotCom.com to find others to sell their product and pay them a commission. One good example of this is MyResellSoftware a site that sells software to people who would like to start a business selling software.
Selling Software As A Business
The nice thing about MyResellSoftware is that they give you everything you need to get up and running in no time. You can literally have a site published with about 1 to 2 hours of work (depending on your skill level) and all you really have to do is insert your information like PayPal account and email address and your name. But the rest of the site is 100% finished and ready. The graphics are done very well and the software is presented as first rate especially the titles that come with the source code and full PLR and Resell Rights. The sales pages for the individual articles are written by a professional copy writer so once you get traffic the sales should start coming in.
There are other sites that I have seen that sell a “business in a box” concept but few do it as well and as complete as MyResellSoftware. While some of the others I’ve seen I have liked they sell PLR eBooks which are a dime a dozen and therefore much harder to market well and make a good profit. Of course if you can write your own eBook, a quality eBook at that, then you can also make some good money by selling the eBook either for the niche it was written or as a PLR title.
In my next article I will discuss other forms of Internet business including PPC Marketing which can bring you tremendous riches but which can also leave you broke and destitute if your not careful. I’ll also discuss some courses that I am currently reviewing. I got my hands on a few popular ones and let you know how they stack up. In the meantime do your research carefully and don’t go with the first offer that comes along.

If you are a mom or a mom-to-be, look at jobs at home! If you would rather be at home with the children and save money on day-care, commutes and lunches, legitimate money making opportunity from home is what you need. Many moms stay at home and work online these days. The only trick is to be able to tell the real opportunities from the scams. But, just by being practical, you can find yourself earning good money pretty quickly. Legitimate offers will include names, contact information, support along the way, and a way to request a refund if you decide that the opportunity is not for you.
If you find an offer of legitimate work at home which sounds too good to be true – it probably is and you should steer clear! Most truly legitimate opportunities do not make millionaires over night. So, do your research, because legitimate opportunities that allow you to earn from home, want you well informed before you spend any time or money. They want you to know what you are getting into and want to help you in any way they can, along the path you have chosen. Sites that are trying to scam you will make you feel uncomfortable and/or rushed. These are the opportunities that you should run from.
‘Stay-at-home moms’ have the huge benefit of being there for all the key years as their children grow up. Do not let this pass you by, find a great opportunity online to supplement or replace your current income so that you wont have to regret anything down the road. Ask many a traditional working mom if they’d wished to have taken this option to avoid missing these special years, and now they wished they had. All you have to do is start researching your opportunities today. Tomorrow you could be well on your way to earn from home, with the opportunity to do jobs at home of your choice.
