Do NOT Spam, Absolute Wrong Thing To Do!
I hate it….that’s to put it mildly.
Listen, it’s totally not cool when I send out emails to those who have opted in on my site and some take advantage of me by turning around and sending me back emails promoting their business opportunities.
This industry is based on building relationships. Wanting to see what they have to offer, sure go ahead and opt in!Trying to boost your leads using this strategy? You should NEVER do it that way! This is a sure fine way to piss a lot of people off and ensure that they will not join your business.
Opt in forms are there for you to gain further knowledge if you’d like and if you aren’t looking for that, DO NOT fill it out! Network marketing has a few simple guidelines that are well known throughout the community. RESPECT, it at the top of the list. Those who have been in MLM for a while know who’s who. It only takes a few stupid mistakes such as spamming for people to get the word out that you are not a legit, honest business associate. New beginners, don’t start out rocky. Get a running start!
How are you presenting yourself?
Behave as the leader you are. You want to work with those who have the drive to succeed. Come on people…it’s common sense! Imagine the situation was reversed… wouldn’t YOU be a little ticked off if you had spent numerous hours trying to marketing your content and material and someone stole YOUR information and started spamming you left and right?~Think about it this way, would you be upset if someone stole your identy and used it however they wanted? So why in the world would you want to do the same thing to someone else? It’s not right and it’s certainly unfair. Come on people…it’s common sense!}
Let’s get serious! If you are going to continue to use this method then at least be polite enough to send an email asking if it’s okay. Asking is always the best policy in this case, who know’s they might just say, “Yes!” You will ONLY receive emails from me because you have asked for them. This will not give you permission to email be yours in return!
When others can point out the leader in you, then you know you have achieved something wonderful. Have to deal with people day in and day out, it’s nice to hear someone say that they trust you and honor your opinion. If you would only grab hold of what I have said, not only will you present yourself in a more classy fashion but you will be sure to win over a lot more of your clients and prospects. People ONLY do business with those they TRUST and take a liking too.
Start doing things correctly. Begin seeing people who look to you for advise rather than having to constantly seek after them. A lead caputre page will ensure you have a place to send your prospects. What you need inside is great information and an opt in form for others to have access to your goodies.
Impementing something so small, doesn’t seem like much…It will make a tremendous difference. Knowlegde is power.

In order for the content marketing technique to be effective you will need to have at least your own website. It is vital to know that the search engines like Google, love websites that have frequent new content added to them. You will also need to ensure that your pages are correctly prepared to be ranked in the search results, to do this the keywords you want to rank for need to be found on the webpage and in the title and preferably the meta description also. It’s important not to spam the search engines by having your key phrases too often in your content, this will have a detrimental effect on your rankings.
Webpages should be easy and pleasurable to read by your readers. It is frustrating to your readers to keeping seeing the same phrase mentioned over and over again in your content, search engine bots will also find it frustrating and will drop your rankings like a lead weight!
The main calculation that search engines use to rank a sites importance is the number of backlinks that point to it, the more the better.
There’s two things we want to do here, you need to get targeted traffic from the search engines so you need to get highly ranked and secondly we want to have our content in as many places as possible to get traffic from sources such as article directories, video sites and social networks. So this is our plan of action
1) You want to write an informative useful blog post or article keep it fairly short and concise and make sure that what you promise in the article title you actually deliver. Of course it’s important that your content subject relates to your choosen keyphrase that you want to target, you want your content to be informative and compelling because when this article reaches the main directories you want readers to click through to your links.
2) After you have posted your article to your blog or webpage use a tool called Onlywire which will syndicate it to all of the top social bookmarking and network sites
3) Create a video about the article you have just written, there are several ways of doing this…powerpoint presentation, screen capture or actually you on camera. Using videos you can reach more people and videos rank quickly in Google, by using compelling techniques you can create interest in your message and therefore increase click through rates. You then need to upload it to all the main video and podcast sites. To cut down on the manual labour of doing this you might want to invest in Traffic Geyser, this will blast your video to around 75 sites. Using videos you can get listed very quickly by search engines.
4) Then you need to take your original article and syndicate it to the major article directories, make sure you spin it though as it will increase the effectiveness of your backlinks. There are tools you can buy to do this for you.
5) The final step is to post your content to social networking sites like MySpace and Twitter.
This is a brief description of the strategy and in order for it to be effective you must do it on a regular basis.
