You’ve probably heard the old phrase content is king you know? I am here to tell you that you’ve been told a bunch of malarkey, because the so called gurus you might be following is blowing smoke up places where it shouldn’t be blown.
I realize this report isn’t exactly what you’ve heard regarding blog marketing before, however it is factual. I will not tell you the names of sites. I have to protect them as they are not mine. However, I will reveal to you some things that I have discovered and why content is NOT King but ONE WAY LINKS ARE KING!
I have taken it up. A new challenge. My client’s pages could not go to the first page of Google. I went to work to get it done.
As with any new client I take a look at what they’re already doing and I was appalled they even were able to get the rankings they currently had. All of the content was extremely poorly written as if someone with no or very limited English speaking and writing skills had attempted to write the article. There were even hints and some evidence pointing to some of the content being created by a cheap and crappy version of an article spinner and maybe even a free spinner.
Due to poor keyword research by the previous SEO guy many of these pages were attempting to compete for very competitive keywords.
Spinning this article is so easy that even a kindergardener could do it with the right software download.
The site was so poorly formatted internally, the anchor text were things like home and now, they weren’t going after their key words with their inner text links, and there was no site map for the search bots to easily follow. This is SEO 101 and none of it had been done.
If Google or any search engine for that matter was properly optimizing content then obviously the page results that show up as top results just would never happen. I went on with my study and research. I will tell you about my finding.
No matter whether they are from low quality websites, all had links to their domain. Next I examined the sites which were on later pages of Google, and I discovered that even though the non-English content was the same, there weren’t any links. So then I decided to take a look at the pages they couldn’t get ranked and see what the problem was…it turned out to be too few incoming backlinks.
So basically I just reverse engineered all the links from those pages which were ranking and pointed links from those domains to the pages my client had which weren’t ranking and sure enough there rankings climbed.
My primary aim is to make them understand that they can get fast results. I will now get them quality links from power and authority domains. Their sites will stay in their first page rankings.
They’ve entrusted their SEO needs to me, and I’ve found that the best way to maximize SEO using web 2.0 marketing blog tactics with lots of links.

Many SEO experts will tell you content is king. There has been a lot of questionable material being offered to people and I am offering you a way to avoid the whole mess.
This article is contrary to popular advice concerning blog marketing, but it is also correct. I will not tell you the names of sites. I have to protect them as they are not mine. I will explain to you that content is NOT King but ONE WAY LINKS ARE KING.

The first page I read made me wonder why it was even there. The quality of the writing on every single page was horrible, and seemed to be written by someone whose English skills where questionable at best. I think the source is a content spinner. They are not neatly written variations of sentences but a product of crap article spinning software.
Most of these pages were also in some pretty competitive keywords, like 4 million competing sites and up so it was very clear and obvious to me the previous ‘seo’ guy didn’t know what he was doing or was extremely lazy.
My kindergartner could do this with the free article spinner we downloaded in a couple minutes from download com.
