How To Use Videos And Articles To Promote Your Website

Alright, since I want to keep this article short and help you dramatically increase your traffic and leads, I’m going to get right into some hard core traffic building techniques that you can use for any website. What I’m about to share with you is a four step website promotion strategy that I use to get ridiculous amounts of visitors to my websites. What I’m going to encourage you to do is to run through the whole strategy once per day. If, however you are strapped for time, this can be scaled back to once every seven days. Alright, let’s get on with the strategy:
1. The first step is to create a piece of educational content. It doesn’t have to be ‘killer’, it just has to be educational. Pretty much no matter what you do, you’re not going to be able to completely predict where the majority of your traffic will come from. There are some ’super gurus’ out there that try and develop training to teach you how to only tackle the ‘heavy hitter’ articles, but you’re better off just creating tons of content and dealing with the ratios. Every kind of content online is the same, videos included. Just create something with some valuable information in your niche, and put it on a website. You might put it on an article network, your personal blog, or a video sharing network.
2. Step two is simple, you make a video and simply announce your article with it, broadcasting it to as many websites as you possibly can. Video marketing is one of my favorite promotion tactics because you get the search engines picking up your content 10 times faster than any other method. Confused? Simply sit in front of a camera and talk about your exciting new article for 30 seconds. I utilize a program called Traffic Geyser to promote my videos, because Traffic Geyser is awesome and it’s super easy to use. More importantly, though, it works. Point the link in the video back to the source of your original piece of content. You can use an awesome free service called TubeMogul as well, but it’s not nearly as effective in Traffic Geyser.
3. In the third step, you just write an original, short article and you broadcast it to the article directories, pointing the article back to your original content. I like article marketing because articles rank consistently in the search engines and they get you long term, passive traffic if you keep using them. They also give you a kind of ’super credibility’ that only can come from massive exposure and consistent content creation. I use automated software to promote your articles.
4. Do it every day. Look, this is a simple process, and it will work for you like crazy if you follow it. Honestly, even if your articles stink and your videos are second class, it will still work.Honestly, even if your articles stink and your videos are second class, it will still work. (Of course, it will work much better if they’re killer). However, just do it consistently for the next 100 days.
So why should you keep working the strategy over the next 100 days? I’ve got a simple answer for you. If you follow the simple advice in this article, you’ll be getting so much traffic and leads that you’ll flip out with enthusiasm. (It works that well). If you stick with the strategy, you’ll get results, and I’ll see you at the top of the search engines.

Social networking is a modern way to connect with your friends that’s fairly fast and very easy. It is the equivalent of the backyard fence where housewives used to meet to discuss the news of the day and share tips about new products they had discovered. Those products grew by word of mouth because they are passed from one housewife to another. Products that are recommended by a friend are deemed good and can be trusted. This kind of marketing, the word of mouth, has been around for years and been acknowledged by the business world, long before we were all introduced to social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace.
Spend any amount of time on social networking sites and you will discover a world of opinion. You will see that certain people have subscribed to certain band or product pages. You will also see that one has sent a note to his 500+ friends that they need to see this sci-fi movie that just came out because the effects were amazing! In fact, most of the things you will see there are just points of views of every person on your network. “I tried the Mandarin Cosmo of ABC bar, it was great! Did I mention it was cheap too? You should go and try it.”.” “Just came out of MoMA – time well spent!The friends who read those posts are more likely to go for the Cosmos than the new club.
All these points of views/opinions are given to you freely. The power of these personal recommendations should not be under-rated. This is because these spontaneous opinions don’t give other people the impression that products/services are being sold to them. How are businesses to take advantage of the social networking phenomenon? How are you certain that it is really your product they are advertising/talking about? Note that social networking sites say no to spam so you really need to have a careful marketing strategy to drive traffic to your site.
With proper application of just a few proven methods you can see your web traffic explode through social marketing. Follow the right techniques for establishing profiles and getting your message out there and you will reap the rewards of increased traffic to your website. It is no secret, to make a living on the Internet you have got to have traffic. It is common knowledge and it is something that you know you have to have but you don’t necessarily know how to get. The reason you built a web site in the first place was to maybe sell products, like a Rainbow vacuum performance power nozzle. Probably you have spent numerous hours trying to build the perfect web site. You may have used MS Word or any of the many other publishers to build your web site.
If you can manage to get large amounts of traffic you will no doubt be able to convert them into paying customers. At least that is the hope of most web site builders. Some of the larger web sites that have been developed at great expense over the years have fallen. However, there are many small sites that have done quite well selling things like the Rainbow vacuum.
By using Adwords you can zero in on your target audience. Let’s say that you have a web site that sells Rainbow vacuum parts, given a choice, which would you rather have, one thousand visitors per day of a general nature searching for everything under the sun or one hundred visitors looking specifically for vacuum cleaners. My choice would be the two hundred unique visitors looking for the cleaners. Why, simply because my conversion ratio would be much greater.
Are You Spending Lots Of Money To Make Money
Almost everyone has heard the saying, “You Have To Spend Money To Make Money”. While not always true, it does have application when it comes to utilizing the advertising service that Google has called Adwords. I’ve used Google Adwords on a continuing basis for several years now and I would have to say that I have spent a lot of money with them. But the flip side is that I have enacted many more sales than I would have otherwise. In other words, I made more money than I put out.
“You can never go wrong making a profit” is what the former student of Glenn Turner, Jim E. Tolleson and his brother Rod Tolleson used to say. This is true, with one caution, listen up. If you spend one thousand dollars in advertising and make one thousand dollars in profit you have made a good choice. if you spend one thousand dollars to run ads and only make one hundred dollars in profits your risk reward ratio is too high.
Which risk reward ratio is correct? Okay, that is something you will have to decide for yourself. Personally, I like a three to 1 ratio. If I spend one thousand dollars running ads I’d like to see a three thousand dollar profit.
