7. Before marketing anything, you may be wondering what you should be tweeting about. Concentrate on social issues, information and events related to your topic of interest. Give some free helpful knowledge about your niche.

Twitter is one of the largest and most visited social media websites on the
net and can be used as a marketing tool. I am generating 20 leads a day for
free using twitter. How? Let me explain.
First you must put up a picture of yourself smiling and looking the best you can
and not a picture of something or someone else. Your biography should tell a bit
about yourself and what you like doing. Show people you are a fun and happy
person so they will want to work with you. Now is where you really want to
start paying attention.
Second you want to follow 150-200 people a day that are in your industry. You
can follow people in your industry by finding someone that is putting out
content about what you have to offer or someone in the same industry as you
and follow their followers. Follow the first 15-20 pages of one person and then
change it up. This will build your following daily and allow you to market to
more people everyday. Now the tweeting comes.
Third is you want to send out 15 tweets per day. These tweets should not be all
ads. Some should be quotes, links to articles, videos, and only 3 ads per day.
This is the best and highest converting way to tweet. You can use a program
which is free to do tweets for you. All you do is set them up in the morning and
then it will send a tweet every hour. The program is called socialoomph.com.
Next part is important to.
Fourth part is you want to delete the people who did not follow you back the
next day so you can continue to follow more people when you reach the ten
percent margin and you cannot follow anymore. To break this you must delete some
of your followings in order for you to follow new ones. You can use a program
called huitter.com. This program is free as well and will unfollow everyone who
did not follow you back so you can continue to follow more people. Shortening
links is next.
Fifth is you want to shorten any links you send out. It can be a link to an
article you wrote or a video or just your site. To make the link shorter so
that you can have more room to write more in your tweets use bit.ly. You
just put the link in and it will shorten it for you so you will have more space
to put out more content in your tweets. Last element is very effective and will
help you make some sales.
Sixth is answering direct messages. You want to answer 10 direct messages per
day. Only answer people who look like they are qualified for what you have to
offer and seem like people you want to work with. Do NOT try to sell them but
build a relation with them and eventually they will ask what do you do? Then
you tell them. So this entire process of using twitter for marketing has
been providing me about 20-25 leads per day and even a few sales. But there
is more to marketing.

By following my thoughts over the next four points, you can acheive significant results in your MonaVie business.
1. The first principle of success in MonaVie is to have a vision that is large, clear, and motivating. It’s important to have your vision so clear and compelling, that you will work all day and night to achieve your dreams, because they feel powerful. What is it that you want exactly? Is it a new house? A new car? What does it look like? Most people can’t even answer the basic questions about their dreams, let alone describe them with absolute clarity. The power of a vision has been demonstrated by every top earner in the world in the MonaVie business, as well as every Network Marketing company that exists.
2. The second principle of success in MonaVie is to learn how you can brand yourself as a leader and attract prospects to you. Today, I’d like to introduce you Coupdetwitter- a course on how to properly get started with twitter, get lots of followers, and turn those followers into cash.
This is by no means a Social Media Purist, but still he teaches what he considers the “right way” to interact on Twitter & other Social Media platforms (hint: it ain’t by spamming people your offers). he has a several years of success in the internet marketing realm
So, once again, here’s a quick recap of how you can stage your own Peaceful (or Hostile) Take Over using Twitter.
- First get a good network of followers started.
- Build relationships with your network now.
- Get your followers to click on your links & tell others about you by retweeting your messages
- Make Money with Twitter.
I’ve shared with you simple ways to do steps 1 through 3. I even added a dimension to step #3 which showed you how to put all that retweeting on HYPERDRIVE by providing things of value to your growing list of followers. But by now, you must be thinking that something is missing. Especially if you’re in business you may, at this point, be wondering if this is just a lot of wheel spinning and wasting your time talking to people.
HOW do I make money?
If you take the actions that I’ve been telling you about you’ll certainly create a huge list of followers… most likely into the thousands and beyond but up till now we haven’t talked about how to tie it all together and start making some money with this connectedness.
Here is the thing. You CAN make money using Twitter and you WILL. But it’s got to be a carefully planned process because you can easily ruin your entire pot of soup you’ve been so lovingly stirring and adding ingredients to all this time. If you just start throwing tons of pepper into the pot now, you will ruin all your efforts.
What Twitter is?
Twitter is really a free-for-all, information gathering, networking, and socializing all going on at the same time. It’s kind of like being in the middle of a crowded street in Los Angeles at rush hour.
People are streaming in all directions with a phone in one ear, a blackberry in their hand AND trying to hail a cab with the other. It’s HARD to get people’s attention, and if you smack them in the head with a bowl of soup from your cart when they’re not looking they’re going to disengage… just like that wow. Poof. Relationship damaged. Do it a couple more times and Kablooey. Relationship ended.
Not only that, they’ll probably be pissed you spilled soup on them.
There’s a couple things to consider, but the main idea is NOT to try and make money ON Twitter directly. It doesn’t work. Nothing will get people to unfollow you faster than this. What you want to do is have a ratio of no more than 5-10% of your tweets even trying to promote anything.
What we’ve been doing over the past couple of posts is stirring that pot of soup. Building relationships, getting people to click, getting people to retweet again and again. Letting those aromas fill the kitchen and start making your followers hungry for more. You’ve got them retweeting your messages, clicking your links and now you’re going to want to entice them more by dropping a few breadcrumbs that lead them to your steaming bowl of luscious soup.
The key is to start interspersing all this value with things of your own. Links that lead your hungry followers to even MORE good value and FREE content that you provide, luring them off of Twitter and onto your own site. If you do not have you own site yet, there are certainly plenty of affiliate products you can promote. But I still do not send people straight to a sales page. You have to lull them away from the noisy street and into your tasty cafe. The content can be many things: teleseminars, webinars… the possibilities are truly endless as long as you think “VALUE FIRST“.
Once you get their attention directed at you and you alone THEN it is time to show them your real wares and convince them to buy your soup. You can even give them a taste of your soup to really get them hooked before asking them to buy the entire bowl. By that time they’re hungry and they’re not distracted by all the noise going on around them.
So, that’s the big Twitter secret. To make money on Twitter, you have to get people AWAY from Twitter!
