Jump Start Internet Marketing Strategies Through P.T.A.
by admin on Mar.14, 2010, under General
The Internet has become indispensable and practically no business, author or speaker can succeed without using the Internet as part of their marketing strategy. But the fact of the matter is, most people may use the Internet to find the products and services they need, but have no idea how to use it for their own profitability.
You may share the confusion of others as to how Internet marketing strategies can work for you and where to begin.
Regardless of what business you are in, the steps to Internet marketing success are very similar, and it might surprise you to learn they haven’t changed much in over a decade! Where most people feel confused is that most of the resources educating you on a particular strategy in the Internet marketing process spend no time at all explaining how that particular strategy fits into the rest of the process.
Avoid getting caught up on an individual strategy or tactic until you have identified your P.T.A., the basic steps you need to find success on the Internet:
P: Plug-In
Discover and “plug-in” to where you currently fit into the Internet marketing process. Is this your first experience with Internet marketing? Or perhaps you have some practical experience, but don’t know how to fit it all together? If you can identify where you fit into the process, you will be better able to plug in to those tools and resources that you need to succeed.
T: Team-Up
Probably the most critical to a small business owner, speaker or author, is t o find a team that can help make the Internet Marketing process happen. The success of your business relies on you being out doing your thing, not sitting at a computer trying to learn everything there is to know about Internet marketing (unless you are, actually an Internet marketer by trade). And finding an inexpensive designer to throw together a website won’t go far in getting you ready to be successful on the Internet.
Your aim is to find outsourced help that takes time to learn about your situation and needs, as well as demonstrates a high level of knowledge of all areas of Internet marketing. You need to start now to form a devoted team that will be at your side for years to come to help you with technical challenges and smart, calculated Internet marketing planning for your business or service.
A: Accelerate
If you get a website for your business or service without fully understanding the entire Internet marketing process, you will never be able to fully implement the last step, and accelerate your Internet marketing plans to success. Knowing a little of this or a little of that is useless unless you know the process and where you are in it, and have a team of resources available to help you implement it. Once you have done that, your business success from the Internet will start to fly.

Get Full Return for Your Article Spinning
by admin on Feb.08, 2010, under General
In case you ended up reading this article out of complete confusion about a term in the title, let me start off by answering the question that is on your mind. What is the point of spinning an article?
We sometimes spin articles so that we can get additional rewards from the effort that we put into creating a good example of Internet writing. We want to minimize the same article appearing on a large number of websites, because content that is too similar will not be of any value to anyone involved in the distribution and consumption chain. The prospective readers certainly don’t need to repeatedly be asked to read the same article, the publishers risk receiving no value from a duplicate article because the major search engines try to avoid showing the same article multiple times in any set of results for a given search by a user and we online business people, in turn stand a substantially decreased liklihood of getting all the visitors or search engine optimization benefit that we could have have received from entirely fresh content.
Content or article spinning is really nothing more than rewriting the article multiple times…except that it is a lot easier, although still somewhat time consuming. What we actually do is rewrite the content one chunk at a time. The size of the chunk that you rewrite at one time, is up to you as you prepare for spinning. We essentially provide alternatives for each of those “chunks” from which a software program will randomly select. We might provide our software alternatives for complete paragraphs, for complete sentences, for phrases and for individual words. We can even build our spinning in a way that will result in article with different numbers of paragraphs.
A technique that most good spinning software options permit is called nested spinning. That is simply placing alternatives within other alternatives. As an example of this, let’s use this as my first sentence: “I adore my new green hat.” I could rewrite two substitutions for that. The first might be, “I surely love my green hat that I bought recently.” A second alternative could be broken into two sentences to achieve even more variety. “I purchased a new hat not long ago. It’s a very cheery bright green.” When these are presented to my spinning software, it will randomly choose one of the three alternatives for each of the many article versions that it provides.
I can provide more alternatives by using nested spinning for each of those options that I have so far created. I’ll just use the third alternative for a quick example of how this works. I could provide a rewritten version of the words, “purchased a new hat” to “bought a new cap.” I could also provide an alternative to “not long ago.” That might become, “a short while ago.” In other words options are nested inside other options.
The more alternatives you provide for the computer software, the more versions you will have that are sufficiently different from each other. Many article marketers believe that the versions should differ from each other by at least 20%, some say 25%, and I usually shoot for a minimum factor of uniqueness of around 30% to 35%. (I use additional software to measure this factor.
Here are the two best ways to maximize your spinning efforts.
Method 1: Rewrite each paragraph, one at a time, once. Rewrite the first two or three paragraphs and the last paragraph a second time for each. Use nested spinning by now rewriting each sentence in each alternative of each paragraph once. Next, add one more level of nesting by providing alternatives to certain words and phrases in the first two paragraphs and in the last paragraph.
Method 2: Rewrite every sentence in the entire article one time. Go back to the beginning of the article. Provide one more rewritten version of each sentence in the first, second and last paragraphs. Apply the first level nesting to selected individual words and phrases in the first three and the final paragraph. Also provide some alternatives for selected words and phrases in those middle paragraphs.
The first approach is more thorough and will yield somewhat better results. The second approach is faster and will usually yield satisfactory results.
If you choose to contract with a professional article spinning service, I suggest that you be certain that the service will strictly adhere to these broad recommendations. Indeed, consider sending the spinning company a link to this article.

Bunny Trails And Internet Marketing
by admin on Jan.30, 2010, under General
Setting out to learn about internet marketing can be very overwhelming and frustrating because it tends to be a self-learning journey not often or easily shared with many others in the beginning. If you are unfamilar with how to sell online the techniques, terminology and all of the so-called ‘experts’ can be very confusing.
If you embark on the learning process without much of a time line, goal or means to measure your progress, the chances are pretty good that you will find yourself on one bunny trail after another. After many dollars are spent you will be scratching your head wondering how you got there. The terrain seems oddly unfamiliar and quite unlikely to get you to where you wanted to go. It only adds to your confusion and frustration. Many people give up on internet marketing at this point~Too many people get to this point and give up on internet marketing}.
So what can you do to prevent this from happening to you?
You should layout a plan, a goal, that you want to accomplish. For example, do you want to learn to put up your own website and sell other people’s products as an affiliate marketer? Or do you want to sell a product of your own and eventually become an expert in order to sell your own expertise? Starting with a goal like this in mind, and developing an outline of what you would like to do to get there, will help prevent you from getting sidetracked.
One bunny trail could take you into pay per click too soon, another into learning outsourcing, all while you haven’t yet learned the beginning fundamentals to get you headed towards your own intended goal.
It is a good idea to have a budget in mind for the limit you will spend on training materials. Many internet marketers offering their knowledge to you in the form of free gifts also tend to have e-books and programs you can purchase. If you can find a couple with information you need, buy them – as long as they don’t blow out your budget.
In the early stages of learning internet marketing you will also be easily persuaded into wanting to purchase every product offered because the sales letters are so effective. They make you feel like you will miss out on this valuable product if you don’t buy it right now. You will be lost without self-discipline, and goals will help here.
Before you start out learning about internet marketing
If you have decided to learn about internet marketing in order to build your own stream of income online, then approach it like a business venture from the beginning. Have a target, know your budget, get a plan and measure your progress.
Keep track of your steps and use these as encouragement when you might feel like this is taking too long or you feel like it isn’t getting anywhere. Obviously you will be further along than when you started. Stay encouraged, keep your eye on the goal and don’t let too many things distract you.
Soon you’ll be the one teaching others who want to learn about internet marketing.

Internet Marketing for Online Business: What to Know
by admin on Nov.02, 2009, under General
If you are interested in internet marketing for an online business, there are things you should know. The internet can be very overwhelming. There is so much information that it can create a lot of confusion for a person who is starting out.
Internet marketing is filled with hype. There are endless offers and gurus promising overnight riches. Everyone is promoting a product, and the sales pitches can sound very convincing. You can easily run yourself out of money by buying all the stuff that promises to make you a millionaire quickly.
Everyone says you must develop a plan, choose a business model. But if you are new it is hard to know what kind of business models there are, or what to choose. What most people don’t tell you is that it just simply takes time. Yes, you have to learn by educating yourself one day at a time.
What It Takes to Be in IM
It is very tempting to want to make fast money. I believe most people that get into internet marketing go there with this mentality. However, we soon realize that there is a lot of work to do. If you are committed and love internet marketing, you will stay and learn the ropes.
Internet marketing success is not achieved by everyone. You have to be a warrior. You have to take success with failure, and know how to learn from your mistakes. You have to bounce back, and you have to learn how to just keep going. If you can walk through the fog and confusion, you can achieve internet marketing success.
If you are committed and are willing to dedicate yourself to your success, internet marketing is a great online business. There are fortunes made on the internet by internet marketers every day. These are people who have gone through the learning curve and arrived at their success. Most of the gurus and internet marketing millionaires struggled at the start, like all of us. It took them a couple of years or more, but they persevered.
The Basics of IM
First of all, you have to learn the basics of internet marketing. You learn the different strategies of marketing. You learn article writing, social marketing, list building, PPC. You also learn how to build websites and blogs. You learn about keyword research and backlinks. You learn about affiliate marketing.
The advantage of internet marketing for online business over having a brick and mortar business is that you need very little capital to start. Where as you would spend thousands of dollars to set up a physical store, you can set up a blog on the internet for free, write articles for free to promote your products, and place ads for free on many sites as well.
There are also a lot of paid advertising methods, such as PPC, but if you do not have the money, you can always find free methods which are just as effective. For a minimal cost of a domain name and hosting, you can set up shop.
IM Strategies
After you have set up your own blog you start driving traffic to your blog. These are your potential customers. Write articles and post them on your blog, article directories, social bookmarkings and ezines. Always have a link to a product you are promoting and a resource box with your name and a link to your blog to drive people back to your “shop”.
On your blog you will have links to other products that you are promoting as well. Most vendors provide banners that your customers can click. You will be able to earn affiliate income from all the products that you promote and sell, as long as your affiliate link is encoded in them.
These are the basic steps that every internet marketer takes during the first few months. Then you start thinking like an internet marketer. You visit forums and learn a lot there.
Developing Your IM Skills
You will develop your own strategy after a while. When you find a product that seems to be exactly what you are looking for at the moment and you feel it will enhance your online business, check it out. This might lead you to the next step of your development as an internet marketer.
When you start making money with your internet marketing online business, reinvest some of that money. Maybe you can look into PPC. I don’t recommend PPC when you are starting out, as it can get very expensive if you are not experienced. But after you are more familiar with keyword research and are getting results, this might be a great way to get more targeted traffic.
I do recommend internet marketing for online business. It is a great way to make a living, if you enjoy working from home. It is very challenging as well as very rewarding. If you have the right mindset and dedication, you are a great candidate for success. And yes, there is an unlimited amount of wealth to be made on the internet.
Get a great action plan for your internet marketing business. Follow this guide and make money.

5 Common Mistakes When Building Google adwords Campaign
by admin on Oct.02, 2009, under General
When launching Google Adwords campaign on a new niche that reaches out to a specific audience, it’s normal for both beginners and experts in the field of online marketing to experience a certain level of difficulty. More often than not, people would allot a big chunk of their time and effort monitoring the market and their competitors, but it’s the creation of ads and their optimization that provide the real essence. Remember though that this strategy is not hundred-percent fool proof and may bring costly mistakes.
Conducting keyword research and optimizing ad campaigns can create confusion to some but you can get results by following these simple steps and suggestions by Perry Marshall in his book The Definitive Guide to Google Adwords.
Building your Google Adwords campaign and ensuring that quality traffic is generated requires that you avoid the following common mistakes:
1. Creating an ad copy that has no keywords. Never make the mistake of putting the keyword in your headline only, most Adwords campaign managers do this, and they forget to place it within the ad. Bear in mind how the relevance, quality, and quantity of your keywords may affect your ad copy’s performance so be sure to include one or two keywords or keyphrases within your ad.
2. Sending visitors to your homepage. Much more attention will be given and you can obtain added conversion rates if the URL you use in your ad proceeds directly to a landing page with the incentive or promo, and not just your homepage.
3. Relying on the ‘broad match’ function of the Google Adwords Keyword Selector Tool. The ‘broad match’ feature will only give you a general idea of relevant keywords in your niche or market, but you do have other options. Use the ‘phrase match’ and ‘exact match’ features in the tool to generate a highly targeted list of keywords that you can use both for your ads and your website copy.
4. Use of underperforming keywords. Assuming that people will be searching for your products or services using keywords you used online may not hold water all the time; hence, you must interpret what your target market’s needs are, though it may take some time to do so. Utilizing the ’synonyms’ feature on the Google Adwords Keyword Selector Tool helps you get desired outcome in your campaign and this can be done by getting a list of similar keywords with the use of the ’synonyms’ feature.
5. Showing your offer only in the body copy. Make sure you emphasize the ‘ultimate benefit’ right away in the headline of your copy. Imagine that your reader/viewer is only reading the headlines; will they be compelled to click on the ad or read the remainder of the copy? Google Adwords ads usually consist of only three or four lines but most people would run down through these and would only proceed if they find something that catches their attention or interest, your chance lies in your headline as it plays a big role in capturing their full concentration.
