Boomers Love Life!
Baby Boomers have arrived at their 50’s and 60’s in large numbers and have promised themselves that they would never become “old”. As a cohort we’re more in tune with the world at large than any previous generation at the same age.
Many of us want to put the “rat race” behind us but we still need a steady income, and we want to stay relevant in society (i.e., we’re not ready for the rocking chair just yet).
Starting and running an online business is a great way for Boomers to keep active, develop a steady income, and at the same time, enable the freedom and mobility that they long for.
Many people in this generation love to travel, and specifically, they love RV’ing. Wouldn’t you like to know if there is a way to combine the two?
Luckily, there is!
All you need is a computer with a wireless internet connection, an online business – and, of course, a recreational vehicle, or “RV” as they’re known. With this limited equipment, you can manage a million-dollar concern from anywhere that your heart desires.
During the summer, you may choose to visit friends or family in the North, but then when the weather turns bad and the snow flies, you might want to “blue-bird” it to the sunny South.

Either way, you can operate your internet business easily and comfortably from your RV – and you can work as much or as little as you choose!
This is an ideal way to take an early retirement, or supplement your retirement income, plus, you won’t have to worry so much about what is going to happen to Social Security, health care, etc. because you know your affiliate business will be producing a reliable second income for you, and doing so in a way that gives you the freedom and mobility you’ve worked so hard to earn.
I know this can be done because I’ve done it – I’ve been a fulltime RVer and conducted my business via the internet more mobility and generally, greater freedom.

Retirement Plans Being Jeopardized? Need to Increase Your Retirement Monies?

Risks to Your Retirement Income
Assuming you’re part of the Baby Boomer Generation, you’re likely giving serious thought to retiring – if you haven’t already retired. And if you have previously left work, you may be evaluating if you’re going to be able to remain retired.
Today’s economic crisis aggravates the retirement question considerably by compounding the following retirement related risks:
1. Life Expectancy Has Increased
Today, life expectancies are longer than their parents’ generation. For example, in 1970, a 60-year old white male had a life expectancy of an additional 16.2 years; however, by 2008, his life expectancy had expanded to twenty years.
So how is the Baby Boomer going be able to afford to pay for those additional 3.8 years? Following are several possible solutions:
> Expedite pre-retirement nest egg building
> Work longer
> Move in with family members
> Accept quality of life
2. Rising Health Care Costs
Predicting and planning for ways to cover one’s health care costs are some of the most difficult financial planning tasks, largely because medical costs are so individualistic, with needs varying greatly from one person to another. Long-term care needs are even more difficult to predict and arrange adequate funding.
Health care costs have grown more than 5% (inflation adjusted) for the past 15 years – and that is greater than the increase in family income. Medicare costs will probably rise as well at similar rates.
3. Legislation May Affect Retirement Income & Supplemental Programs
It has been widely reported that the expenses associated with the major entitlement programs (e.g., Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid) are growing more rapidly than other sectors of the economy, and some experts challenge their long-term viability because of the cumulative effects of increased life expectancy, size of the retiring population, and increasing health care expenses in general.
Moreover, immediate questions concerning continued health insurance during retirement, and at what financial levels, are rampant in today’s economy – and these questions are given even more fuel by the reorganizations occurring, especially among the auto industry.
We are still witnessing much discussion concerning a national health care program – but such discussions have been active for decades, with few results to show for those efforts. Although President Obama will be leading such efforts this year, most people anticipate a lot of opposition from Congress.
Most people think that seniors over age 55 will be exempted from cuts in these entitlement programs, but providing complete coverage for them is a two-edged sword – doing so increases the likelihood of a new value-added tax, which would likely add to retirement tax burdens.
4. Sometimes One’s Retirement Date is Dictated, and not a Free Choice
According to a 2004 Health and Retirement Survey (HRS), 37% are forced to retire due to feeble health or downsizings, etc.
5. 401Ks Became 201Ks
Did your retirement savings (including your 401k) take a major hit with the stock market meltdown in 2008? My investments were deeply affected. Many people saw their 401k and other stock market accounts take a 50% hit, which has led many comedians to rename them “201k”. For many people, their 401k was the bulk of their retirement savings, so this stock market meltdown substantially damaged their retirement plans.
Humpty Dumpty Was Not a Retirement Expert
Some of the news is good news. You can fix a broken “nest egg”.
You can work an extra year or two, take a part-time job or work from home to supplement your earnings, start your own business, etc.

Is Donald Trump’s ‘The Trump Network’ The Best MLM Ever?

The Trump Network is not going to make you any richer, unless you understand what I’ve said below.
As Donald Trump needs no formal introduction, most of what you’re going to read here is going to be dealing with his latest venture (as of 2009), “The Trump Network.”
So what’s this ‘Trump Network’ I’ve seen advertised all over Google?
The Trump Network is a MLM opportunity that has developed personalized nutritional products, similar to a well known company called Genewize. The MLM is branding it’s image after Mr. Trump itself, which is attraction a lot of ‘magnetism’ online. There are flocks of MLM junkies right this moment packing their bags on their current opportunity to RUN to the ‘New Donald Trump Deal.’ Together with Efusjon, about 10 juice companies, and Genewize, 2009 is proving to be ‘The Year Of The Pre-Launch’. I wonder if this was predicted by the Mayan Calendar.
What product line does The Trump Network promote?
Donald Trump has branded a new nutritional technology, which bases personalized nutrition and weight loss after a well known science called ‘Metabolic Typing’. The brilliance of the whole thing is that when all of the fat, unhealthy baby boomers see that all they have to do is join Donald Trump and pay 0 a month to lose weight, feel great, and get rich – that they’ll flock to the new company in droves.
(I was thinking about bringing my bong to the international convention)… Baby boomers love weed, too.
Now THAT’S a company that I want to start. ‘The Weed Network’. If Obama would legalize pot, then all you’d have to do to get rich is walk outside of any high school, find the kids that hang out by the overpass, and say ‘hey man, if you just find five people who find five people who want to get stoned – you’re going to be one rich dude!’
I guarantee no one would even ask if it was a pyramid scheme – they’d be too busy laughing and skipping school and saying ‘this is SOOOO cool man…’
Now of course I’m joking (only a little). You see, ever since the advent of the internet, about every 3 months the ‘latest and greatest MLM’ comes out and masses of frustrated Network Marketers flock to join ‘before it’s saturated’. The hope is that The Trump Network, unlike their company that they’re in now, will somehow magically work for them when nothing in the past has.
Why The Trump Network CAN’T make you rich:
I’m going to have about 100 people complain to me about this the second it’s released. I’m going to get comments like ‘The Trump Network is awesome, blah blah blah, you’re just jealous.’
I don’t want you to misunderstand – the Trump Network IS a good company. In fact, out of the 3 zillion pre-launches of 2009, they probably have about as good of a chance to succeed as any other – and they have a decent product idea, too –
What I’m saying is simple. I don’t know if you get this – but the people who make all the cash when a company is launching are the leaders who have built huge organizations before. They’re people who have gigantic databases of distributors from PAST SUCCESS that they built the hard way. You see, when Randy Gage, or any other famous person gets involved in a company when it first launches, they can sponsor swarms of people into their company just by sending out an email and saying:
‘I’m awesome. As you know, I’ve made 40 trillion dollars in the last 30 years helping struggling people make money. Being as awesome as I am, I obviously know way better than the average person how to spot an opportunity of a lifetime. I just joined XYZ company because more people are going to get rich from this than got rich from Microsoft. If you join me right now, you’ll be rich, too – but only if you act in the next 24 hours. You see, because I’m so highly regarded, and as I said, awesome – I can only work with people who aren’t idiots like most people and know how to spot a good opportunity when they see one. Don’t call me unless you’re credit card is in your hand.’

Then, in a buzzing frenzy, hoards of people abandon years of hard work and relationships because they get caught up in ‘the newest and greatest thing’…

So am I saying that you shouldn’t rush out and join Donald Trump?
No, not at all. What I’m saying is – understand that building The Trump Network is not going to be any easier than building a business in a 5, or 10 year old company, and unless you’ve either got a database of 20,000 people who love and respect you (or you learn how to build one and get to work), you’re not going to make any more money from The Trump Network than what you can do by sticking to ONE COMPANY.
Did you know that according to Dr. Charles King, based on more than 15 years of academic research into the world of Network Marketing PROVES that out of the people who stay actively involved in ONE COMPANY for 10 years or more reach the top of the comp plan and earn six figures a year?
The problem is, we get so hyped up into the ‘newest, most awesome deal’ that we abandon all that we’ve worked so hard to build. Network Marketing is a PROFESSION and it needs to be treated professionally to produce six and seven figure results.
Look, I’m not bashing on The Trump Network, or any other MLM leader out there. What I’m saying is simple – if you want to get rich in MLM, focus more attention on learning how to market your business professionally than you do looking for the newest deal to solve your problems.
