Always Try Different Types Of Promotion
by admin on Jul.04, 2009, under General
Promoting a website can be a drag for some people and they get stuck to the same routine when promoting there websites. The internets changes daily with new methods and tips to try out, so the stuff that worked last year may not work as well this year.
Google updates its algorithm on a regular basis to help keep there results relevant to what the user searches for. This often means they change the way they rank sites or change certain aspects slightly. Many years ago you could have one server and host 500 sites on it, you could cross link each site promoting your keyterms to get to the number one spot in google. Google soon caught onto that and put an end to it, but because some people are out of touch with seo they neglected to notice the change and got there sites permanently banned in google.
Another update that happened about a year or so ago and is still fresh in a lot of people’s minds is this thing to do with link farms. Google doesn’t like link farms but at one point it did, so everyone started getting links from these farms to help boost there search engine positions, but again google caught onto it and stopped it and the people that didn’t notice got there’s sites penalised or banned.
To stay a head of your market you should try new methods of promotion on a regular basis, it is also a good idea to create a test site to try out the more aggressive methods.
If your like me and want to get your traffic for free from the search engines then the best way and consistent way is to produce strong inbound links to your site. I work for a directory submissions company and we have hand picked over 4,000 of the top directories that have pagerank and receive a decent amount of traffic. All the sites we use are considered to be strong in the eyes of google as they have all been assigned a pagerank. We offer manual directory submissions that are carried out by a team of professionals that understand how important your site is to you. We also offer automatic directory submissions which have a high acceptance rate and carried out by software specially designed for directorysubmissions.eu and get updated on a regular basis. Website Marketing IS Profitable — For Those Who Know The MSN Search Engine Loophole
by admin on Jun.03, 2009, under General
Finally! There is a way to achieve first-page organic ratings in search engines without having to battle the entire planet through the Google gauntlet.
Successful website marketing has been elusive for thousands, if not millions, of people who have the desire to start a profitable online business.
As someone reading this page, you obviously have an interest in website marketing. Maybe you’re just getting interested, or maybe you’ve been at it for awhile, fighting the good fight. Whatever your situation, you will probably answer this question the same way: If you had a lucrative new enterprise in front of you, and you had the choice to fight either the U.S. Air Force or a 98-pound couch potato to get there, which would you choose?
Chances are you’d pick the second option. Maybe you’ve had top-page ratings in Google, only to get knocked off for no reason by some algorithm change. Maybe you have a truly revolutionary product or approach, but can’t make it happen in Google due to the fact that the whole world is battling it out there.
Note: What if you had a great site that ranked on the fifth or sixth page of Google and got about 100 hits a week? That same site, optimized for MSN, might attract 100 page views per day. Which scenario do you think will be more lucrative? Get in on the ground floor of the latest discovery in website marketing.
You need traffic. Without traffic, you will be on the Internet equivalent of life support.
And The Ultimate Search Engine Loophole is a genuine, real-life traffic shortcut. A real loophole.
This is not to say that it is a magic button. But with the ease and power of this method – not to mention the immense opportunity for you if you actually use this to rank for profitable keywords – there’s absolutely no reason why the decision you make right now won’t create life-changing results for you.
Think about the simplicity of this business.
With the web’s highest-converting search engine traffic, you are literally just one converting offer away from life-changing income.
Is there any reason not to get access to this method and start generating serious traffic from MSN right now?

Internet Marketing – Top Ten Squidoo Marketing Tips
by admin on May.09, 2009, under General
Why Squidoo? Well, since they launched the site has been an absolute Internet marketing phenomena.
Google loves Squidoo and it’s f-ree!
It is still one of the easiest ways to get to the top of the rankings for a long tail keyword quickly and with the minimum of effort. However, it is a good idea to do a little more than just put a page up, so here are my top 10 Squidoo Marketing Tips:
1. Always create your Squidoo page with the keyword as your title.
2. Make sure your content is keyword focused, aside from having good website design. It is a good idea to keep adding fresh content on a regular basis. (But as always, be cognizant of your return on the time invested. It is no good spending hours dominating the search engines for a phase like
‘left handed basket weaving’. Sure you’ll be number 1, however, I’m sure no one would care.
3. The higher your ranking in your Squidoo category the higher you will rank in Google.. (That same principle is being used by Google more and more, for example, videos have to become popular FIRST before being ranked in Google).
4. When submitting articles to the directories, make sure one of the hyperlinks in your resource box your SQuidoo URL, hyper linked with your targeted keyword.
5. We’ll be talking a lot more about Social Bookmarking in weeks to come b, however don’t forget to social bookmark your Squidoo lens too! Bumpzee is always a good place to start.
6. Always think of your Squidoo lens as another one of your web-sites. So, for example, if you are using any other marketing technique, such as classified ads or forum posting, then don’t forget to include your Squidoo lens as one of the targets.
7. Study squidoo FAQs. You are going to find out just how to tweak the engine under the bonnet. For example, you can all about their automated algorithm Lens Rank they use to rank the lenses.. They look at community ratings, lensmaster reputation, click through rates, frequency of updates, inbound and outbound links, rev-enue generated, and many other factors and give the lens a number.
8. Jump over to the home page of squidoo. Study Squidoo marketing strategy to your heart’s content. Check out the forum..
9. While you’re there, make a comment (or six) and add your link to your signature.
10. I believe you must’ve realized by now that Squidooing is a whole science by itself. There are people who make a living, just by Squidooing..
Finally you often find the best marketing tips on how to promote a site on the site itself (after all, they have a vested interest).
Here are some advice Squidoo give themselves:
{Email it. To your friends, your mom, your boss. Don’t be shy about bragging, you deserve a little limelight! Email it to your family, friends or even your boss. Don’t be shy about bragging as you deserve a little limelight}.
Blog it. Post your lens to your blog. Send a note to someone you admire who runs a blog on your topic, and ask them to check out your lens. Sincere flattery gets you everywhere..
Try linking it to the lens of your Facebook page, LinkedIn and Flickr profile, eBay auctions or email signature. Create your own little traffic network and get discovered in more places. Wouldn’t you like to get found more online?
Group it! Check out a Group that’s always talking about your topic and request to join. Get friendly, get relevant, get feedback, get found. Compete. Stop by the Lens of the Day Group for inspiration from winning lenses. And if your lens is up to snuff, enter it in the contest..

Internet Marketing – Some Home Truths
by admin on May.09, 2009, under General
If you plan on marketing on the Internet, then there are a few home truths then you need to know about….
THE GAME WILL KEEP ON CHANGING
For a couple of main reasons, the game will keep on changing. So get used to it. Google will keep changing it’s ranking algorithm continually. One, to keep the scammers at bay. Two, to protect their AdWords revenue.. They know that if their algorithm becomes too easy to crack, TOO permanent, then BILLIONS of dollars will be switched from PPC (Spent with Google) to Search Engine Optimisation experts (Spent with other people).
GOOGLE IS THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN (For Now)
The King of Search Engines controls around 60% of the search market. If you don’t have a presence with Google then you have lost the lion’s share of the market. They also have such market charisma that they make you sign silly ‘agreements’ like ‘Google reserves the right to do anything it wants and there’s nothing you can do about it’ (or words to that effect). They don’t really care what happens to their customers, they are just looking after their own interests. Get used to it.
INTERNET MARKETING INFORMATION IS LIKE FRESH FRUIT
The market is changing so quickly that internet marketing information is rapidly getting old too! Sure, there are some pieces of advice that will stay ripe for years to come (build a list for example) but a lot has a shelf life of literally months. Buyer beware. Do not buy mouldy bananas.
PEOPLE DON”T SHARE INFORMATION JUST FOR $47
They might share a lot of valid, solid information, but they will never share the recipe for gold for $47.00! If the claims people make sound unrealistic or sounds too good to be true, then they probably are. (Please note that any recommendations I make on this site means I have purchased, had succesful results with the tests, and found the product to be worth it’s money. Read the product review on Alvin Phangs Atomic Blogging, for example).
Don’t buy Internet Marketing products which is based with claims about huge profit as you will find them to be, in the main, wildly exaggerated.
You will also find that the time or resources needed to achieve such results are quietly underestimated.. Instead, value the purchase based on YOUR time. How long would it take you to find the equivalent information for free? How much will it cost YOU if you get and follow the WRONG information? If you don’t have the right blueprint to follow?
Finally, there is a LOT to learn and you can easily be distracted, darting from this place to that in the search for the holy graill. My advice is to focus on just one aspect of Internet Marketing (list building for example), conquer that and then move forward.
Here are some other important advice: Keep your focus. Be determined. Don’t ever accept failure. Read only the latest information, preferably a source that is updated DAILY. When changes come, accept it. Change is inherent with Internet Marketing, so. Get used to it.
