Resell Rights: Enhancing Business Performance
by admin on Jul.03, 2009, under General
The process of production is a rather complex affair. Aside from economic factors, production does not stop on the completion of the products itself. Rather, the process also involves the selling of such products and all the adjunct processes related towards marketing them. If marketing is neglected as one of the factors affecting production, success in business may be no foregone conclusion.
Consumer Access to Small Purchases
In marketing a product, there may be instances when the consumers could not afford buying the product in bulk. Instead, consumers may prefer buying them in small quantities to suit their budgets. This way, it is economically harmful to continue producing products by the bundles unless some way is devised that will allow small buyers to buy the product, given their limited budget. It’s a good thing that resell rights are allowed in today’s business atmosphere.
Good for the Producer
Resell rights is good for the producer. Allowing the products to be sold by resellers would mean that the producers do not have a monopoly of things and it will involve the participation of others who may have an interest in the process. Moreover, it means one less burden for the producer as the aspect of selling their products to the end users will now be handled by resellers through resell rights.
What Reseller Rights Is
Resell rights do not mean that the reseller now owns the product themselves: they still do not. What they are allowed to do is to make modifications on the product to fit the marketing strategies they employ. This right causes most to misinterpret the process, alluding that the reseller now owns the product. This misinterpretation has to be clarified to avoid further confusion over the process.
Applications of Resell Rights
Resell rights are found everywhere. In telecommunications for example, some companies buy air time from giant companies in bulk and sell the air time to consumers. This concept allows consumers to gain access to low-cost communication. On the part of the mother telecommunication company, this means an assurance that they will have sales and a continuance of their business. For investors, it is just one way to earn, although it must be noted that not all reselling always end up in a gain. Some of them do end up in losses.
