That link they clicked on to get there has your code so the purchase can be credited to you. Affiliate products pay upwards to 75% of the sale price in commission.

If you want to sell things other than E-books, you can find lots of companies and websites selling products that you can sell as an affiliate. Amazon.com is a big one for example. Sign up with one of these and sell stuff.
