I have been involved in internet marketing for over 5 years – and I have to say a lot has changed in terms of how to make money online. In the old days it was simple to slap together a site and fire it to the front page of Google. You dont need to invest any of your own time into customer support – the product is responsible for this.
And Google Adsense?
Adsense is the term loosely applied to having advertising on a content based website, which you receive money for every time someone clicks on one of the ads. The Google Adsense network is the most popular network and the easiest to work with.
The secret to adsense is simply writing quality articles of about 500 words in length and building a site on them. You can also get PLR articles which are ready written articles you just need to edit and re-submit as your own. You can also hire a copywriter to write articles for you if you have a bit of money to spare. Selection of the niche is the absolute key to ongoing profits with adsense. You want a high traffic niche with minimal competition so that you can easily get good positions on the search engines.

As I mentioned earlier you can get burnt big time with PPC if you lack experience. There is basically a steeper learning curve when it comes to PPC and if you don’t take the time to learn and test you will burn through your money and make no sales in the process. The competition is often fierce for the best affiliate marketing products, as is the CPC which makes it hard to generate profit. You are better off focusing on free methods – then when you start making money – putting that back into PPC.
Conclusion
Things have definitely changed in terms of making money online. I am confident in saying that affiliate marketing and adsense are the fastest ways to achieve this. The key to doing this successfully is simply the creation of quality content that links back to your main site. I advise against using PPC at first – many newbies give it a try – lose a bunch of cash – and give up altogether. If you are dedicated and persistent I know you are going to make money online.
